Basalt Fiber Chopped Strands is made of continuous basalt fiber filaments chopped into short pieces. Adding basalt fiber chopped strands to concrete structure can improve the crack resistance of concrete by more than 50%. Strong alkali resistance, tensile strength retention rate of up to 75%, in the alkaline concrete strength affected by small, is an alternative to polypropylene (PP), polyacrylonitrile (PAN) used to strengthen the cement concrete of excellent materials. Basalt fiber Chopped Strands applied to cement concrete/mortar is a specially developed steel fiber imitation reinforcing material. As a sub-reinforcement material, it can significantly improve the toughness, flexural and tensile properties, and impermeability of concrete.
